My 2016 Challenger came to me on aftermarket wheels, which were fine until one met an Oregon pothole and lost. Insurance and my own curiosity now want to know what the original wheel and tire package was, both the wheel design and the factory tire size, so I can decide whether to go back to stock. The previous owner kept nothing, obviously. How do I check what wheel and tire setup my car left the factory with? Is that level of detail actually on the records?

It is. The equipment listing carries a wheel line with the size and style group, and a separate tire line with the factory size and usually the tire type. Between those two lines you can rebuild the stock setup exactly, and your original window sticker would show it priced out too.

Once you know the factory wheel group, the used market is full of takeoff sets from people who went aftermarket on day one. Going back to stock is usually the cheapest wheel purchase you will ever make.

Found both lines, and the sticker even lists the upgraded wheel option the first owner paid for. Takeoff set located two towns over. The pothole does not win.
