AJ4 — Identifies a technology and driver assistance equipment group on the record. Browse Sales Code codes →

First new car, first forum post, be gentle. My 2024 Hornet GT was supposed to be ordered with the Tech Pack, and the salesperson swears it is on there, but the feature list in the app feels thinner than the brochure promised. Rather than argue vibes with the dealer, I want to argue paperwork. Which code on the factory record confirms the Technology Group is actually on my car? And where do I pull that record from with just my VIN? I want receipts before my next dealer visit.

Right instinct. Pull the factory equipment listing for your VIN and look for the technology group line among the package entries; the member features usually appear as their own supporting lines below it. Print it and bring it to the dealer, paper beats vibes.

Also check whether the missing features are ones that need activation in the app or a software update, because on the newest models some equipment is installed but sleeping until the dealer flips it on. The record proves installation either way.

Pulled the listing and the group line is there, so the hardware exists. Dealer visit scheduled to wake up the sleeping features. Thank you both, receipts acquired.
