Can someone help decode my Dodge build sheet?

AHC — Identifies a factory-installed equipment group listed on the build sheet. Browse Sales Code codes →

Just picked up a 2019 Charger R/T and pulled the build sheet for it using the VIN. I was expecting plain English, but instead I got three solid columns of short codes with one-line abbreviations next to them. Some are obvious, like the paint line, but most mean nothing to me. Is there a trick to reading these things top to bottom? I mainly want to confirm the sound system and axle before I start budgeting for mods. Any pointers from folks who have done this would be appreciated.

Start at the top block, which is vehicle identity, then the codes run roughly by category: powertrain first, then chassis, then interior, then options. Read the abbreviation next to each code instead of the code itself and it gets much less scary.

The build sheet is grouped, not random. Match each three-character code against the abbreviation printed beside it, and keep a notepad of the ones you care about. For your goals, look for the axle line in the chassis section and the radio line under interior equipment. Ten minutes and you will have your answers.

That did it, thanks. Found the axle line right where you said and the premium audio code beside the radio entry. Way easier once I stopped trying to memorize codes and just read the abbreviations.
