Retired tech here, helping my nephew price his 2017 Charger for sale, and I will admit the resale market moves differently than the shop floor I knew. We pulled the factory record, so we know exactly which options the car carries. Question for the folks who buy and sell these: which factory options actually add real money to a used Charger, versus the ones buyers shrug at? Trying to write an honest ad that highlights what the market rewards instead of what the brochure celebrated.

Drivetrain and brake options carry real money, appearance packages carry photographs. Sunroof splits buyers straight down the middle. The premium audio group gets mentioned in every ad and pays in almost none, but it closes deals with commuters.

As a recent buyer: documented factory performance options with the record to prove them commanded my respect and my money. Anything the seller could not prove factory, I priced at zero. Your printed record is itself worth money.

Cold weather group sells cars north of a certain latitude and does nothing south of it, so mention it early to the right audience. And heated seats have converted more spouses than any horsepower figure ever printed.

When I shopped, the ads that listed option groups with the record attached were the ones I drove to see. Honest paperwork is the option that adds value to all the other options.
